Big Damn Heroes (Firefly)

Been getting back into Firefly lately... but really does this show ever leave us?! Man I miss this show. I like many fans like me hate that this show wasn't able to keep going. I found on amazon that a company called Funko is making 6 inch figures of the main characters from the show! Sadly I am having to cut back on my action figure purchases but I am getting at least one of these!

Most likely I'll get Mal. Mainly because he is my favorite next to Wash. I'm a leaf on the wind watch how I soar! Are you a fan of Firefly? If so what character will you be picking up? Let me know in the comments. 

T-shirt Tuesday

Today I went to the mall and found a really good deal on t-shirts 2 for $20.00. So in honor of last week of movie trailer's I picked up a Star Wars and a Batman t-shirt. looking forward to wearing these in public!

The True Superior Spider-man

I had lost faith with Spider-man in the comic book world since (spoilers) Doc Ock had taken over Peter's body/life! But since April of last year Peter has returned in a big way in Superior Spider-man 30. I had stopped reading the series but now that I know Peter is back in action I'm going to dive right back into the world Spider-man ASAP.

The Force Within Me.

So last week as everybody who's a Star Wars knows a trailer for The Force Awakens was release at Star Wars Celebration and online. Now I have and shall always be a Star Wars fan but since 2012 when Disney bought Lucas film I have had to bury my fandom deep in my soul. Why? The simple reason is excitement. Being excited about a movie that wasn't going to be seen for 3 years is to long and exhausting for someone likeness who is passionate about Star Wars. Also keeping it "bottled up inside me" has made the past week and a half years go by very fast! I believe that if I had continued to be a hardcore fan time would have moved so slow for me. So now that the new trailer has been released and like the Force the sleeping Star Wars fan inside me has also awaken! I'm curious to see if I'm the only Star Wars fan to do this? Star Wars The Force Awakens. Out of all the trailers that have been released so far this year nothing hits me so close to the childhood like this trailer did. And who could blame me Chewie.... we're home!

The Ultimate Star Wars Saga Collection

Back in high school as soon as I had my drivers license I went and purchased this set of the original trilogy on DVD. This set came with the 3 movies and 1 bonus disc.

Like them or not the prequels are apart of the Star Wars story. I purchased each one of the prequels as they were released on DVD. Each DVD came with a bonus dics also which makes the total number of DVDs 10. So now I had the entire saga on DVD.

But soon after purchasing the prequels on DVD Lucas film released the theatrical version of the original trilogy on DVD so now my number of disc's is 13.

So back in 2011 I purchased the "Complete Saga" on blu-ray. I put complete in quotation marks because it's not complete. We'll it is until December so I decided to do something about it.

 The blu-ray of the saga! Which had 9 dics so that would makes it a grand total 22 dics.

I went and purchased 7 Blu-ray cases that each hold 3 disc. Thanks to a guy I found online who made and printed these slip covers. Each movie has a blu-ray disc, a DVD disc (with theatrical movie on it, and a bonus disc. Now my Star Wars movie collection stands at 21 Disc. I'm very happy with how these turned out and am looking forward to adding the Force awakens on blu-ray next year!
